SUCCESSFUL SELLING of your home STRESS FREE is in competent STAGING!

Mary Lou Porak, Interior Designer, has been in the designing field since 1969.  A Colorado native, Mary Lou's philosophy in one word: Service.  I want my client to be comfortable and happy with the results.  Staging is a specialty, yes the first 8 minutes are the most important part of selling your home.  It is all in the first look at the property...........the eye sends a story to the senses of I WANT TO MOVE IN here or I am not at all interested!

READ ONE OF HER MANY NEWSPAPER ARTICLE!

Published Cheyenne Edition November 18,2005

Mary Lou Porak, a native Coloradan, in business since 1970, has done interior design for everything from cottages to castles. Porak sums up her design philosophy in one word: "Service". I want my clients to be comfortable and happy to work with what's already there, with the client's existing furniture and artwork, as she is to facilitate a radical change requiring that everything be new. "Imaginative rearrangement can often refresh and change a home to the client's complete satisfaction," she said. Because her foremost concern is to make her clients happy, there is no single "look" which characterizes Porak's work. Her clientele describe the results in terms of ambience rather than style. "Quiet elegance" is the phrase most often heard to describe the finished look of a Porak interior. But to Porak, elegance can range from utmost sophistication to the casual, as long as the look is harmonious, tasteful, and, above all, personal. Equally at home in commercial design, one of Porak's proudest achievements, and one which earned her accolades from the public, is the interior design of the Pikes Peak Library at Rockrimmon, for which she developed and supervised the layout, traffic flow, color selection and signs. When Porak designs professional and commercial offices, she is concerned with the total design scheme and how the separate aspects of that scheme conform to the concept. She is concerned with accessory placement as with color scheme. The results are notable harmonious interiors that provide pleasant, positive and productive working environments. In addition to her reputation as an outstanding designer, Porak is known statewide and has served clients on both coasts. She has won numerous Parade of Home awards, has been frequently interviewed as an authority in the design field and has been the subject of numerous articles on design in both city and state.
